The top three scorers of ITMI, each from the three PGD courses- Mass Communication, Broadcast Journalism and Media Planning, Marketing and Sales Management were presented today with a token of appreciation in the campus itself. Felicitating on the achievements has always been a gesture of encouraging students for a better performance. Here at ITMI, this gesture is valued not only by the achievers but also by the entire section of trainees who profoundly appreciate the support of the faculty members who are putting in relentless efforts to make the students excel at their professional lives. The ceremony turned out to be a powerful boost to the aspiration of the future media professionals.
The ceremony started with a speech by the Dean of ITMI, Mr. D.J. Pati, which was followed by the announcement of the names of top nine scorers. These were then awarded a present and a standing ovation. A nice buffet of snacks was also organized by the institute which subtly raised the level of excitement within the trainees. The blend of the savory and spicy flavor of Dhoklas’, the sweetness of Jalebis’ and the authentic smell of Samosas’, implied the building up of the sweet and sour success stories of future which ultimately will fill the court of ITMI and trainees with great experiences.
There is a lot more to come in the way of achieving a greater platform. There are larger goals for which smaller ones need to be accomplished. This fulfillment has been only possible with the dedication of the learners and not to exclude, the hardworking faculty members and professors of ITMI who backed the trainees through every kith and kin. The felicitation ceremony ended on a positive note with the mouthful of food and heart full of ecstasy.
