The winner of Miss World 2016, Stephanie Del Valle from Puerto Rico passed on the prestigious and precious crown to the new title holder from India, Manushi Chhillar. The journey of this 20 year old diva began in June this year when she won FBB Colors Femina Miss India World 2017 title. The stunning lady has also been the winner of the ‘Head to Head’ challenge and the co-winner of the ‘Beauty with a purpose’ competition in which she initiated a project called ‘Project Shakti’, under which she visited 20 villages and focused on spreading awareness about menstrual hygiene, changing the lives of around 5000 women.

Miss Chhillar’s performance was really impressive throughout the journey but her answer in the final round was like icing on a cake which made her win all the hearts across the world. When asked about the profession which according to her deserved the highest salary in the world, she replied “Since I am very close to my mother, I believe a mother deserves the highest respect. When you talk about salary, I don’t think it’s just about cash, but it’s the love and respect you give to someone. I think my mom has always been my biggest inspiration; mothers sacrifice so much for their kids. It is certainly that one profession which deserves the highest salary, the highest respect and love.”
